Well, we all have our skills and deficiencies, don’t we? Me…
If I had to change a tire, I’d then be afraid to ride on it. I am the least mechanical person I know.
I can get lost walking home from a store that’s six blocks from my crib. ZERO sense of direction.
I cannot do math in my head.
I may not call my mom often enough.
I could watch the movie “Snakes On A Plane” daily.
But, on the Plus side…
Weirdly, I have a Spock-like ability to tell the time of day without looking at a clock.
I am a champion (literally) softball pitcher and infielder.
I can wiggle my ears, flare my nostrils, raise either eyebrow, and move my scalp. (So could you. It only takes a week or two of standing in front of a mirror and practicing a couple of times a day.)
I’m a great blackjack dealer – fast, accurate, and personable.
And, of course…
I can gift-wrap. When I was a kid, my dad would pay me to wrap his presents to mom. As an adult, I would get all kinds of creative to package my gifts to friends. Eventually, I got a job doing professional wrapping at a major department store. I like it.
I’m friendly by nature, and I’m very non-judgmental. I’m honest and fair. I’m always eager to please!
